Enrique Gil on MMK this April 27 and May 4; Plays Juan Ponce Enrile in Two-part MMK Special

After the success of the hit royal teleserye “Princess and I,” Enrique Gil makes a grand return on television this Saturday (April 27) as he stars in his first ever “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode.

Enrique will surely touch the hearts of “MMK” viewers as he showcases his remarkable talent in acting in the two-part special heavy drama episode of ABS-CBN’s longest running drama anthology.

The Kapamilya Primetime Prince will give life to the role of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, who was born with the name Juanito Furagganan. Juanito grew up exposed to poverty because of the abandonment of his father. When he joined the guerillas during the World War II, Juanito’s life changed as he was imprisoned and was brutally tortured by their enemies. How will Juanito’s experiences help in molding and strengthening his personality?

Joining Enrique in this “MMK” episode are Malou de Guzman, Bugoy Cariño, Bernard Palanca, Paco Evangelista, Ya Chang, Helga Krapf, BJ Forbes, Josef Elizalde, Marx Topacio, Efren Reyes Jr., Alicia Alonzo, Bodjie Pascua, Rochelle Barrameda, Ian Galliguez, Simon Ibarra, Joe Gruta, Jong Cuenco, Almira Muhlach, and Jessica Connelly. It was researched by Akeem del Rosario, written by Mark Duane Angos and Arah Jell Badayos, and directed by Nuel Crisostomo Naval.

Carlo Aquino and Joem Bascon Play Bisexual Lovers in MMK this December 1

Well-acclaimed actors Carlo Aquino and Joem Bascon will portray bisexual lovers in the upcoming heavy drama episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (December 1).

Carlo Aquino is HIV Positive in MMK, plays a lover to another bisexual Joem Bascon

Kevin (Carlo) and Alan (Joem) are both bisexuals who just met thru a casual sex. Soon they found themselves falling in love with one another and eventually, they entered in a relationship. Their affair was filled with happiness until they knew that Kevin was infected with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and his case was already in AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) condition. Later on, Kevin confessed to Alan that he acquired the virus because of engaging in casual hook ups with his clients.

What will happen when Alan discovers that Kevin infected him with AIDS? Will their life-threatening disease be more powerful that their love for each other?

Aiko Melendez and Jomari Yllana Reunited on MMK this May 5

Former sweethearts Aiko Melendez and Jomari Yllana prove that true love waits in a special episode of “Maalala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (May 5) as they portray the characters of Mariz and Nonit, whose feelings for each other both tried to stand the test of time.


Despite finally meeting her 'one great love,' Mariz had to let Nonit go because she has to fulfill her promise to her siblings that she will not get married unless all of them have already graduated from college. After parting ways, Mariz found out that Nonit got married. Since she could not imagine herself to be with any other guy, Mariz remained single even after her siblings have already graduated. Just when Mariz thought she was meant to be an old maid, fate will let her meet Nonit again. After so many years, has their love for each other remained?
